Through Baptism, we become children of God. In our parish, the Sacrament of Baptism for infants is celebrated once a month, usually on the last Sunday of the month.

The Eucharist is the principal of the sacraments; it is the source and at the same time the summit of all Christian life, from which the parish community is nourished.
Children may approach the Eucharist for the first time within a process of catechetical accompaniment.
In our parish, the celebration of First Communion takes place within a formation process in which children aged eight and above participate in life groups that meet on Thursday afternoons.
If you would like your children to prepare for the Sacrament of the Eucharist and take part in the groups, please consult the Children and Youth section of the page Do you wish to become a Christian? by clicking here.
Confirmation is the sacrament of the Catholic Church that completes Baptism, enriching the faithful with the Holy Spirit and binding them more firmly to the community in order to spread the faith. It requires prior preparation (catechesis) and is conferred through the laying on of hands and anointing with Sacred Chrism.
Through this sacrament, baptismal grace is strengthened, we mature as Christians, and we bear witness to the Gospel.
It may be received at any age; however, it is often prepared for during adolescence (13–18 years) or by adults through specific catechetical programmes.

Through the celebration of Marriage in the Church, the spouses become, in Christ, one flesh.
Our parish assists couples in both the preparation for and the celebration of the Sacrament of Marriage in the Church.
The Church welcomes couples who wish to receive the Sacrament of Marriage, as well as those who are already civilly married and now desire to be married in the Church.
“Marriage is a precious sign, for when a man and a woman celebrate the Sacrament of Marriage, God, so to speak, is ‘reflected’ in them; He impresses upon them His own features and the indelible character of His love. Marriage is the image of God’s love for us […]. This has very concrete and daily consequences, because spouses, by virtue of the sacrament, are invested with a true mission, so that they may make visible, starting from simple and ordinary realities, the love with which Christ loves His Church, continuing to give His life for her.”
(Pope Francis, Amoris Laetitia, 121)
For Christians, therefore, receiving the Sacrament of Marriage entails embarking upon a renewed journey of encounter with God.
In our parish, we offer formation on the meaning of Christian marriage and the beauty of the Sacrament of Marriage. This takes place over an intensive weekend. During this gathering, couples engage in dialogue with one another, with other couples, and with the accompanying married couples and priest. Participants are encouraged to take part in the life of the Church in order to continue growing in their married and spiritual life. This formation does not intend, nor can it replace, the full process of discernment and preparation for marriage that couples are called to undertake together.
We therefore also recommend that couples participate in a marriage preparation programme of sufficient duration to enable them to discern, as a couple, God’s call to marriage and to respond to it together. The Parish can provide information regarding these programmes, or you may contact the Diocesan Secretariat for Family Pastoral Care directly by clicking here.
Participants in our meetings receive a certificate which forms part of their marriage file. Please note that, in order to be married in the Church, a marriage file must be opened at the parish where either the bride or groom resides. This file is then transferred to the parish where the wedding will be celebrated.

In imitation of Jesus Christ, the Church seeks to accompany the sick, whether through attentive listening and consolation, by bringing the Eucharist to homes and care residences where our sick are present, or through a special sacrament, the Anointing of the Sick, by which Christ strengthens us to face illness.
